How does Infinite mode work?
Each player can only have three marks on the board. When you place a fourth, your oldest one disappears. The mark that will vanish next fades and pulses so you can plan ahead. Because the board never fills up, there are no draws.
Online play won't start
Online matches use Game Center. Open the Settings app, tap Game Center, and make sure you are signed in. Then try again from the Online mode in XO Duel.
Nearby can't find my friend
Both phones need XO Duel open on the Nearby screen, with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth turned on. If iOS asked for Local Network access and you declined, turn it on in Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network.
Who goes first?
The opening move alternates every round, so nobody keeps the first-move advantage.
